One of the neatest things we have been able to be part of in Rexburg is the International Dance festival. This year we didn't host dancers but we did the Youth Cultural Day. The girls got to choose a team they wanted to perform with. AJ really wanted Israel. So first they danced with the dancers from Guatemala, then the Netherlands (which was a good time!) and last Israel. They learned a dance with Israel and got to perform it at the matinee show. It was so much fun! We LOVED it. What a great experience to help them open their eyes to the outside world, in a safe way. I tried to get the video of the performance to upload but it won't, SAD. Kenna was HILARIOUS! She was in her own little land. At the very end Eden picked McKenna up like she was the star of the show, McKenna loved it. It was such a fun day! Definitely going to try and have dancers come to our house next year. It is a great experience.
There was a street festival that night, we didn't get any pictures of the parade part because it was raining, poor dancers in their amazing costumes got drenched. We had fun hiding under our umbrellas. But after the rain died down we walked around and the girls got to experience a pottery wheel. Pretty cool!
Brylee was in heaven! She loved everything about this.

What a FUN day! SO many new people and experiences.
