New Years!

New Years Eve Jaylee was very sick with a yucky cough and a lot of snot! So we partied as a family at home for the second year in a row.  It was a lot of fun.  We each put an activity in a balloon and randomly popped them all night and did that activity.  I did a candy bar/ dice game, AJ wrote us a song to sing, Jaylee did a frisbee toss game, Brylee did a nail salon, McKenna did wii games and Glenn did resolutions and we played headbands. Jaylee is hilarious at this game and she totally guessed her card 9and it couldn't be more true! She is such a turkey!) We love playing as a family.  We did trick the little ones into going to bed at like 10:30 and told AJ she cold stay up in her bed if she wanted.  Glenn stayed up and watched the Hobbit and I was asleep before 11!
Poor Snoop was scared to death when the girls were trying to pop the balloons but the girls had fun! The two little ones needed help.
Best daddy award!  He took a very long time to do AJ's because he made them fancy!

Mom did these two and they ate their snacks while waiting for AJ to be done.  We had lil' smokies, cheese dip and oatmeal raisin cookies! yummy
Put some effort into it light weight! lol
 bowling!

 mommy snuggle time!
Glenn shows us how he really feels, ha ha.  We made plenty of noise after our count down!

We really had a fun time just staying home, being warm and safe.
Happy New Years!!!! Yay for 2015!

If I could have been anywhere else I would have been in Utah with this crazy bunch!
Glad they got to see Karin.

Dr. Brylee and McKenna eating an Olaf cookie made by Grandma.
Before we started on Christmas we did Birthday gifts for Glenn.  33! He was happy with his presents for sure.  We made all his favorite snacks instead of cake.  Sausage dip, 7 layer bean dip, lil' smokies,,
 Snuggle time with Grandpa

 potato head!
New stroller from Aunt Joy that she can easily push around.
Admiring our gift!  We are just in awe of how amazing it is!

I did DVDs of mom and dads old VHS tapes.  I am not done yet because they take along time.  But they were very happy about the ones I did do.  It is fun to take a trip down memory lane.

We had such an amazing Christmas!  We were spoiled and felt very loved. Now the girls are plotting what to spend their $100 on!

Christmas day

We had a great Christmas!  It was our first one as just our little family.  It was weird but good.  We had a good day just relaxing, except Glenn who installed a new Dryer and Dishwasher for me! He is so amazing.Merry Christmas to me I can do laundry and dishes! lol
I surprised Glenn by ordering a painting from A.J Wood in Missouri.  The one of us and the temple.  A.J. surprised us with this one of Glenn as a missionary.  They are both amazing.  It was a really neat gift.  One we will treasure.
The girls got a lot of fun stuff.  Including their Santa wishes which were:
Angelynn: violyn
Brylee: Ipod
McKenna & Jaylee: Elsa singing doll
Plus they got a a lot of fun surprises!  The Mehls always send fun presents.  This year La La Loopsy dolls for the 3 older and the blanket pad for Jaylee.

AJ got a huge supply of mints and gum from mom and dad.  Brylee got a skateboard!
They all got Build a Bear outfits from Grandma Von .
Kenna got a scooter.  Jaylee got a kid/toy tablet.
AJ got a couple hoodies and $50 from Tyler & Rachel
She bought these Anna and Elsa dolls right after Christmas with her money from them.

The girls had fun playing in the fresh snow.  The snow had perfect timing.  We had none and then Christmas Eve we got dumped on!  Brylee was not into being cold but the other 3 had fun.

We had a Christmas dinner of ham & funeral potatoes. It was a great day.  We just love our family.  The girls went to sleep super excited for Christmas round #2 with the Baileys the next day!
