A day of performance!

We had our May TaVaci concert as well as the girl piano recital on the same day! It was crazy busy but so fun! AJ graduated from TaVaci. She also got to sing a solo. She was pretty excited about that. Mid song Jaylee decided that she should pout. And it is really hard to change her attitude when I am the one leading all the kids in singing so I just laughed instead. Such a cute pouty face. We did an armed forces medley which was incredible! We had veterans come and march down the isles with their flags. It was so cool! Grandpa, Grandma and Joy came to show their support. All in all it was a GREAT concert, recital and day!

End of April happenings

So Snoop decided to try and jump through the doggie door when it had the cover on it. Slammed his head against it.  He came in the house and couldn't lift his head. We were in Utah. We could tell he wasn't right and in pain but I didn't know how bad or really what to do since we were in Utah. He got sick, pooped everywhere, even in the car.  Fun ride home, NOT. Anyway on Monday I had already decided if he woke up and still couldn't life his head I would take him to his vet. Well Monday came and not only wasn't he lifting his head he also wasn't walking right at all. He was tripping over his feet, walking in circles... it was crazy and sad. Took him in and he had xrays done that revealed a bulging disc. It was putting pressure in ways that made it so his front feet were numb so that explained the crazy walking. It took a good 10 days of carrying him up and down the outside stairs, keeping him from jumping and being on steroids to get better, but now he is normal.

 Karins B-day, had to reminisce through some old pictures. I sure love that girl! She has been with me through the worst and best parts of life.  

 Visiting the dinosaur museum with Brylee's school class. We took Wes with us. 

 This man. He is amazing. He has been pushing through school for so long. It is exhausting, frustrating and seems never ending. But he never gives up. He keeps at it every day because he knows getting his degree will better our future. I love and appreciate his dedication. He fell asleep doing homework in his cold corner. Such a good man. 

 Brylee gave a report on Belgium. She did great.

 So proud of this girl! Her orchestra concerts are so fun and we really truly enjoy listening to her practice at home. She is a natural!
